The challenges that face Savannah aren’t going to be handled overnight and we must start by looking squarely at where we are, where we want to be and how to bridge the space in between.

In 2016 SAVANNAH PEACE INITIATIVE was launched to actively involve the community in pursuing peace.  It’s easy to forget the toll violence is taking – peace poles will serve as a meaningful and beautiful reminder of the souls we have lost.  The first group of artists were chosen due to their involvement with Loop It Up Savannah and their homes being in the area of the highest crime statistics in Savannah on the Eastside.  I encourage everyone to participate in spreading the word of PEACE through our community by participating in the movement.  Click here to contact one of our peace ambassadors today!

Thanks for the 'shout out' Savannah Morning News!
